They are HERE
That's right, ....we already have a lot of advanced robotics in the world NOW!!.

 
But to get to the level where we have robots do all the work and leaving the humans free to be themselves? When can we see that? At the moment robots are doing some of the work but the humans who have been replaced, instead of becoming free, they become unemployed ...and the rich get richer. But for now it kind of has to work this way (hopefully for not much longer) I mean without the rich how could we have all the advancements in technollogy we have. Not many were happy when Facebook bought Oculus Rift for 2 billion.... but without that money we may be waiting much longer to see the Virtual Reality headset widely available.
   But if robots took over all the jobs and money was distributed freely and equally to all the people. People wouldn't have to work. And we could live in new virtual worlds!!! These worlds are being built even now.
